Mintaka Quill is a full-grain leather case for the three pens you reach for most. Each pen sits in its own lined slot, and the leather cap slides down over them and locks with a brass clasp.
Inside, a soft lining cushions every pen and keeps metal barrels, clips and lacquer free from scratches. The dividers hold each pen upright and apart, so they don't knock together in a bag or briefcase.
The leather is full-grain, with a rich brown finish that darkens and softens the more you carry it. It sits well on a desk next to a notebook and travels easily in a jacket pocket or work bag.
Mintaka Quill is named after Mintaka Pass in upper Hunza, one of the old Silk Road crossings where traders and travellers carried their letters and ledgers over the Karakoram.
